Fans worldwide continued to be glued to their seats during 2009, watching all the sporting stories unfold. The Pittsburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl. North Carolina won the men’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The Los Angeles Lakers were the NBA champs once again. The New York Yankees bought yet another World Series. Lance Armstrong made his return to the Tour de France. Usain Bolt sprinted his way into the history books. And, for the first time, Tiger Woods got more attention for what he did off the golf course.
