Lee and Betty Peyton saved not just her great-great grandfather’s family home, but a piece of Henry County history from certain deterioration.
Water compromised the roof of the house and the south wall started to separate from the structure, cracking the seams of brick fashioned on site when Betty Peyton purchased her great-great grandfather’s home in the late 70s. With the aid of a grant from the Kentucky Heritage Commission, Peyton restored the house to its former glory.
