Plans are underway for the 26th Annual New Castle Spring Fling. The date this year is Saturday, June 14. The time will be from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
We will have arts and crafts, flea markets, food booths, exhibits, and farmers’ market. We still have room for you or your group to set up a booth. Booths are free for non profit organizations.
We are currently looking for units to be in our parade. The parade will line up and start this year from New Castle Elementary School and will travel thru the streets of New Castle. As usual, this year we are giving prizes and ribbons for the best decorated float. The prizes will be 1st place —$50 and ribbon, 2nd place — $30 and ribbon, and 3rd place — $20 and ribbon. Come on and be in our huge parade with the beauty pageant queens, diginataries, celebrities, clubs, groups, antique cars, tractors, ball teams, scouts, and many others.
We will have lots of live entertainment throughout the day, childrens activites, citywide yard sales, children beauty pageants, cake walk, duck pond, and much more going on throughout the day. For a complete list of activities you can check the website www.henrycountyky.com .
If you have a group of singers or band that would like to entertain at the Spring Fling call the phone number below and find out how you can participate.
This year we are asking ALL businesses and home owners to display The American Flag on the outside of their business or home.
