New health department means more services

With the continuing rise of health care, receiving health services without insurance can be costly.
The new Henry County Health Department building hosts a larger facility to offer more health care services on and off the property.
The new location on US 421 includes six new clinic rooms, compared to the old location’s two, and a separate laboratory area. North Central Health District Director Renee Blair said the department will schedule new services like larger specialty clinics such as cancer screening, WIC and family planning.
