Local bank earns highest rating for safety and soundness

BauerFinancial, Inc., the nation’s leading independent bank rating and research firm, announced recently that Bedford Loan and Deposit Bank, Bedford has once again achieved its highest 5-star rating. The 5-star rating is based on the overall financial picture of the bank and indicates that Bedford Loan and Deposit Bank is one of the strongest banks in the nation. This quarter represents the 64th consecutive time that Bedford Loan and Deposit Bank has earned this highest honor. St. Jude’s Benefit to be held in Campbellsburg

A balloon release will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 9 a.m. at Campbellsburg Elementary School and a benefit concert will be held beside Hale’s Barber Shop in Campbellsburg at 6 p.m. for the 2008 Remember Me St. Jude Fundraiser. By participating in this event, you will help raise funds for children of the world who are stricken with diseases like cancer, AIDS and Sickle Cell Anemia.
