Operation Henry County Cares to send packages to 167 soldiers

The Henry County High School class of '08 is collecting items for its sixth annual "Operation Henry County Cares" which provides a variety of supplies for soldiers stationed overseas.

This year they've "adopted" 130 male and 37 female service members stationed in either Iraq, Afghanistan, or Kuwait; some of whom have a connection to the county.

"This year is particularly special for us because two of the brigades we are supporting are being led by two Henry County graduates," said Judy Rice, Henry County High School Senior Sponsor.
