  • Joseph David Martin, 37, Port Royal, was indicted for 14 counts of 1st degree unlawful transaction with a minor, all class B felonies each punishable by 10 to 20 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he persistently and knowingly induced, assisted or caused, a person less than 16 years old, to engage in illegal sexual activity, namely intercourse. Count 15: Martin also was indicted for use of a minor in a sexual performance, a class C felony, when he employed, consented to, authorized or induced a person less than 16 years old, to engage in a sexual performance.
  • Tiffany Gibbs, 21, of Eminence was indicted for 2nd degree assault, a Class C felony punishable by five to 10 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary, and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when she intentionally caused physical injury to another person, namely Stanford Dixie, by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument, namely a knife. Count 2: Gibbs was indicted for tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when believing that an official proceeding was pending or may be initiated, she destroyed, mutilated, concealed, removed or altered physical evidence which she believed was about t be used or introduced in the official proceeding. Count 3: Gibbs was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for up to 12 months and/or a fine of up to $500, when she had in her possession objects used, intended for use, or designed for us in ingesting, inhaling, transporting or otherwise introducing a controlled substance into the human body.
  • Jessie Thomas Scrogham Jr., 39, of New Castle was indicted for 1st degree assault, a class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he intentionally caused serious physical injury to another person, namely John Hawkins, by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument, namely a knife.Count 2: Scrogham was indicted as a 1st degree PFO, in part because on 11/3/09, in Shelby Circuit Court, he was convicted of flagrant nonsupport and sentenced to 2 years with the DOC; and on 3/10/95 in Shelby Circuit Court, he was convicted of 7 counts of 2nd degree assault and 9 counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment and sentenced to 7 years with the DOC.
  • Eric Klink, 34, of Pendleton was indicted for TBUT or disposition over $500, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he took or exercised control over movable property of another with intent to deprive them thereof, namely a bronze bell belonging to Sulphur Christian Church.
  • Tina Ann Martin, 34, of Turners Station, was indicted for 3 counts of complicity to unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st degree, all class B felonies each punishable by 10 to 20 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, committed by Joseph David Martin, having a legal duty to prevent the commission of unlawful transaction with a minor in the first degree, and failed to make a proper effort to prevent Joseph David Martin when he persistently and knowingly induced, assisted, or abused a person less than 16 years old to engage in illegal sexual activity, namely intercourse.
  • Sean M. Dunlavy, 27, Campbellsburg, was indicted for 2 counts of 1st degree burglary, both class B felonies felonies each punishable by 10 to 20 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when with the intent to commit a crime, he knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in buildings at 289 Montfort Lane, Campbellsburg; and 661 Carmon Creek Road, Campbellsburg, while armed with a deadly weapon, a hunting bow. Counts 3-5: Dunlavy also was indicted for 3 counts of 2nd degree burglary, all class C felonies each punishable by five to 10 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary, and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when, with the intent to commit a crime, he knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in dwellings at 109 Bell Avenue, Campbellsburg; 114 Ransdell Drive, Campbellsburg; and 8641 Main Street, Campbellsburg. Count 6: Dunlavy was indicted as a 2nd degree PFO, in part because on 7/1/03 in Carroll Circuit Court, he was convicted of 2nd degree burglary and receiving stolen property over $300 and sentenced to 5 years with the DOC.
  • John T. Patterson, 24, of Campbellsburg, was indicted for TBUT or disposition over $500, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he took or exercised control over movable property of another with intent to deprive them thereof, namely, jewelry belonging to Daniel Lane. Counts 2-28, Patterson also was indicted for 27 counts of 2nd degree CPFI, all class D felonies each punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he possessed 17 checks for a total of $1,580 drawn on the account of Louisville Law Enforcement at PNC Bank; and 10 checks totaling $1,395 drawn on the account of Daniel Lane and Nancy Payton at UCB, CBurg.; with the knowledge that they were forged and with intent to defraud, deceive and injure another. Count 29: Patterson was indicted as a 2nd degree PFO in part because on 8/22/07 in Henry Circuit Court, he was convicted of felony TBUT; tampering with physical evidence; and 2nd degree unlawful transaction with a minor, and sentenced to 4 years with the DOC.
