Jonath A. Greenwell, 49, of New Castle, was indicted for criminal possession of a forged prescription, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when with knowledge the prescription is forged and with intent to defraud, deceive, or injure or another, she uttered or possessed a forged prescription for a controlled substance.

Marcus E. Gritton, 33, of Louisville, was indicted for 1st wanton endangerment, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, he wantonly engaged in conduct which created a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to anther person. Count 2 Gritton was indicted for 1st degree fleeing or evading police, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when with intent to elude or flee, while in a motor vehicle, he knowingly disobeyed an order to stop given by a person recognized to be a police officer and therefore creating a substantial risk of serious physical injury or death to any person or property. Count 3: Gritton was indicted for operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended or driving under the influence, third offense, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he did operate or was in physical control of a motor vehicle while his license was suspended or revoked as a result of his conviction. Count 4: Gritton was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs fourth offense, with aggravating, a class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he operated or was in physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or any other substance which impaired his driving ability, and refused to submit to any test or tests of one’s blood, breath or urine. Count 5: Gritton was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for up to 12 months and/or a fine of up to $500, when he had in his possession objects used, intended for use, or designed for use in ingesting, inhaling, or otherwise introducing controlled substances into the human body. Count 6: Gritton was indicted for possession of marijuana, a class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years imprisonment in the state penitentiary and/or a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, when he knowingly and unlawfully possessed marijuana. County 7: Gritton was indicted for 1st offense failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $250, when he failed to have in full force and effect motor vehicle insurance.

Count 8: Gritton was indicted for reckless driving, a violation, when he operated a motor vehicle without regard for the safety and convenience of pedestrians and other vehicles upon the highway.
