On March 19, Eminence Rotary Club and the Henry County Extension Office hosted the 20th Annual Farm City Day, an annual luncheon celebrating Henry County’s rich agricultural heritage and its unique blend of town and country. In attendance was Steve Kelly, of the Kentucky agriculture Commissioner’s Office, speaking about the Kentucky Proud program, new 4-H and FFA license plates (FFA group pictured above with Steve Kelly and Juanita Lashley), and agriculture legislation before the General Assembly. More than 100 members of the community attended, including the Henry County Leadership class as part of their class day. Additional sponsors were Mary Bryant of Kentucky Farm Bureau, Tony Whaley of State Farm, and Farm Credit Services. The meal was catered by Linda Aldridge of All The Way Shop.
