Henry County Schools experienced a boom in attendance last year, according to recently-released figures. According to the most recent numbers, Henry County’s attendance across the district sits at 95.63 percent, eclipsing the state average of 94.8 percent.
According to Henry County superintendent Tim Abrams, the numbers show that the teachers are making school appealing to kids.
