Both Henry County and Eminence cross-country teams competed at the Carroll County North Central Kentucky Conference meet last Tuesday at General Butler State Park.

Eric Phillips led Henry with a fourth-place finish in the boys’ varsity race, while Shelby Potter led Eminence with a 23rd-place finish in the girls’ varsity.

Check below for complete results for both schools. Both teams competed at an Owen County NCKC meet Tuesday and will have this weekend off.

HC Volleyball

Without Jon Kasten, who was out with health issues, the Henry County volleyball team defeated Western Hills last Tuesday night, 2-1.

The Ladycats won the first game 25-12, lost the second one 25-19, then won the third 25-8 in the best-of-three series. Assistant coach Ken Cates filled in for Kasten, who is back for Henry’s games this week. Henry improved its record to 10-4 with the Western Hills win.
