Local players named to the all-district, NCKC teams
Three Eminence Warriors boys’ basketball players were named to the 31st district tournament team. Guards Jalen Dixie and Brooklyn Rucker were joined by center Brandon Mitchell on the team.
Dakota Estes of Henry County was also named to the team.
In the girls’ tournament Kim Barmore and Colleen Coomes were named to the team for Henry County and Sherry Brees made it for Eminence.
Henry County’s Cheyenne Clark, Austin Young and Derek Jeffries were also recognized as part of the all-NCKC team.
McKee officiating at SEC Indoor Championships
Henry County’s Jim McKee officiated as an umpire in track events at the SEC Indoor Championships taking place in Fayetteville, Arkansas last weekend.
McKee will officiate the 53rd Mason Dixon Games this weekend and at the NCAA championships the following weekend also in Fayetteville.
Youth Baseball Signups
Youth baseball signups will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 2, 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Mar. 6, and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 9, all at the 4-H building at the Henry County Fairgrounds.

Henry County Youth Softball signups will be held March 2 and 9 from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Henry County Fairgrounds 4-H building.
