Henry Baughman wins again

Henry Baughman of Smithfield won the Falls City Tennis Classic in Louisville this past weekend.

In the 65-and-over doubles, Baughman and Woody McGraw defeated their only opponent, Russ Cashion and Richard Martin (6-2, 6-3) in the finals.

Also, Baughman played with his brother Jim in the 70-and-over doubles against Ben Moore and Dr. John Baird, who recently represented the U.S. versus Canada in the Gordon Cup competition for men 80-and-over and “played down” in the 70s (due to lack of an opponent) and won 6-1, 6-1.

In the 70-and-over singles, Baughman defeated Elton Wiest (6-1, 6-0) and brother Jim (6-2, 6-2).
