Losing 4-1 to Frankfort last Wednesday night, coach Shannon Snider said afterwards that his Henry County girls’ soccer team needs to accelerate its progression.

The Ladycats, in just their second season at the varsity level, dropped to 0-5 with the Frankfort loss and have three games this week — they played at Oldham County on Monday, host Owen County on Wednesday and travel to Kentucky Country Day on Thursday. So far this season, against a tough schedule, the Cats have lost to North Oldham, South Oldham, Fern Creek, Shelby County and Frankfort.
