Student of the Week for Jan. 23:Campbellsburg Elementary School Harlie Webster

-A A +A

Harlie is in the 5th grade at Campbellsburg.

What is your favorite subject?

Social Studies. I like seeing how life was back then. I like learning about how farmers worked then and the Indians. I am part Native American.  We just finished the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, the real story was he had to go and warn other Sons of Liberty.

What would you like to do when you grow up?

I would like to be an art and drama teacher because I like to draw. I like to act. In the fourth grade I did a play on Christmas. I am really good with little kids and I like to see them smile. I think it would be fun to talk with them and have a good time.

Do you have any pets?

Dogs: Hank and Angel. Angel is getting ready to have puppies. My dad has another coon dog named Bones.

What kind of music do you like?

I like country music. Taylor Swift, and Big Town sings the song Tornado.

What do you do for fun?

My most important thing is hanging out with my dog and friends. We mostly just joke around and talk about what we would like to do in the future.

What is a fun fact about your self many people don’t know?

One is that most of the time I go hunting with my dad. Because if you can do archery and stuff at the end of the world you know how to hunt and kill your own food so you won’t have to starve. Most people rely on going to the store, and country people hunt and kill their own food.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?

I would travel to lots of places. I would probably go to Haiti and help kids. They don’t have things like we do here they don’t have electronics, most kids want homes and want their places to be better than they are now. I would rather starve than let other people starve.

I like collecting old stuff like old china dolls or clowns from a long time ago. I also like collecting stuff animals.
