The Eminence Warriors baseball team scored the first run of the game against the Frankfort Panthers Friday, but fell 11-1 to the Panthers.
The Warriors got their run when Austin Jones led the game off with a single and Mack McKee sacrificed him to second base. Cole Lawson came through with a one-out, RBI-double to score Jones.
Frankfort scored two runs in the first inning as two walks and error hurt the Warrior cause. Frankfort scored three runs in the second to take a 5-1 lead. The Warriors blanked the Panther in the third and gave up only one run in the fourth.
