For much of the 2011-2012 season, the Eminence Warriors have substituted out of necessity.
But last week against the Kentucky School for the Deaf, they substituted because they could, as they cruised to a 53-5 victory.
“We only played our starters for about 12 minutes of the game,” head coach Bill Covington said. “It was a good chance for our younger players, who were able to get in the game and play.”
The liberal subbing led to balanced scoring for the Warriors, who were led by sophomore Sherry Brees with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
