With few exceptions, the Henry County Wildcats defense put on a clinic last week at Elizabethtown.
The Cats traveled to Elizabethtown on Friday and came away with a 21-7 district win against the Panthers.
The early going was tough for the Cats as E-town struck first at 10:12 into the game on a 52-yard touchdown run by Panther quarterback Josh Williams. Henry County head coach Jason Spencer said the touchdown was the result of two missed assignments. The extra-point attempt was good and the Panthers took an early 7-0 lead.
