    Church Activities and Services

    Pleasant View Baptist Church will host a Community Youth Choir Workshop and Concert for youths ages 5 to 18. The workshop is Saturday, July 30, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church located at 789 Clore-Jackson Road. The concert is Sunday, July 31, at 4 p.m. at Collins High School Auditorium.

    Cameron Rogers, 20, Crestwood — arrested July 5 at Interstate 71, 32 mile marker south bound, by Trooper Brown for DUI; failure to wear seatbelt; reckless driving; driving too fast for conditions; and possession of open alcohol container in vehicle

    Pleasant View Baptist Church will celebrate its Men’s Day on Sunday, July 17, at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Rev. Lloyd Watkins, associate pastor of Kenwood Northeast Baptist Church, Crestwood. The focus of the Men’s Day program is on family and friends, “Each One Bring One.”  Lunch will be served immediately after the morning service.

    Eminence Rotary Club meets at noon at Henry Christian Church every Monday.
    The New Castle Lions Club meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Monday of each month at Buddy’s Place in New Castle.

The focus of the Women’s Day program will be to honor senior citizens.  Lunch will be served immediately after the morning service.

    Church Activities

    The Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Living God will host a weekend revival May 6 through 8. Bro. Jerry Cottrell of Palestine, W. Va., will be the guest speaker. Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, and at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. The church is located at 124 Smith Lane, Bedford.

    The Trimble County Hymn Sing will be held Thursday, May 5, at 7 p.m. at the Bedford Springs Church, 43 Shepherd Lane in Bedford.
