Bible Study at Daybreak Baptist Church at 4323 W. Main Street on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. is “Angels... Who are they? When were they formed? What is their function? Whom do they serve?”
The church sanctuary at Eminence Christian Church, 5333 S. Main Street in Eminence is open each Wednesday from noon until 1 p.m. for quiet prayer and reflection. All are welcome to come and go as time allows.
The New Castle United Methodist Church Women will hold their annual Christmas luncheon and Bazaar Friday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Castle United Methodist Church. The menu is turkey salad, ham on roll, pimento cheese sandwich, salad and dessert all for $8. They will also have arts and crafts, baked goods and Rada cutlery for sale.
Sligo Baptist Church will host Handshakes and Pancakes on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 65 N. 42 Loop in Pendleton. This free breakfast is held on the third Saturday of each month. The Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God, 124 Smith Lane, Bedford, will be holding Revival Services, Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m. The speaker is Brother Jerry Cottrell from Palestine, W.Va.
