    Breakfast with Santa will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Henry County Middle School. Come join Santa for a pancake breakfast, magic show, picture with Santa and door prizes. $4 per person.

  • 59 contestants • 13 teams • 610.8 pounds lost

    The Henry County Biggest Loser Contest has come to an end for 2011.  We thank everyone, North Central District Health Department, Henry County Extension Office, Henry Christian Church, and the contestants for participating in the contest. 

    Remember to continue to strive for the healthy lifestyle to make a difference in our community.  

    A total of 610.8 lbs were lost in our community.  Henry County, give yourself a pat on the back.

    Pleasureville United Methodist Church Fall Craft Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the church. Chili lunch begins at 11 a.m. Bake sale begins at 9 a.m. There will also be a yard sale during the bazaar.

    Eminence Christian Church is sponsoring a recycle event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at 5333 Main Street in Eminence. Shredding, electronic and television recycle (no cabinet models and none larger than 30 inch), household paint (no aerosol cans or biohazards) will be recycled.
