    Bethlehem Baptist Church is hosting a hayride, soup supper and outdoor family movie (weather permitting) on Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair. This event is free.

    Eminence Baptist Church will have its annual Trick or Truck Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.  There will be games, food, safe trick-or-treating and fun for everyone.

    On Saturday, Oct. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m., Providence Baptist Church will host a fish fry. On Saturday, Oct. 29, Providence will host truck-or-treat at the church at 5:30 p.m.

    Berea Christian Church, located at 685 Franklinton Road in Pleasureville, will hold its homecoming Oct. 16 with worship at 11 a.m. and a meal at noon. Bring a dish, meat and drink provided. There will be a singing at 1:30 p.m. RSVP on Facebook at Berea Christian Church in Henry County.

    Rev. Paul Briscoe will be guest speaker at the Union Baptist Church Reunion Sunday, Oct. 2.
    Lunch served immediately following the worship service. 

    Pleasureville Baptist WMU will have a yard sale Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. All money raised will go to the Samaritan Shoebox Ministry.

    Pleasureville Baptist WMU will have a yard sale Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. All money raised will go to the Samaritan Shoebox Ministry.
    Eminence Christian Church will hold a recycle event on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church on Main Street.  There will be a shredder truck to shred documents; paint recycle (household paint, no five-gallon buckets) and electronic recycle (no tv’s).  Donations will be accepted to fund additional recycle events.

    Church Activities

    Campbellsburg Second Baptist Church will celebrate Pastor Rev. E.B. Higgins 33rd year anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 18, beginning at 11:30 a.m.  The visiting church will be Henry Christian and the guest speaker will be its pastor, Ed Berry. The community is welcome to attend.

    Pleasant View Baptist Church will be celebrating its Youth Appreciation Day on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m.

    Homecoming 2016 at Point Pleasant Christian Church, 4724 South Property Road will be held Sunday, Sept. 11. Potluck from 5 to 6:15 p.m., music from 6 to 8 p.m. by Miller’s Folly Bluegrass Band and Tim Harper. There is a giveaway and yard sale but everything is free, accepting doantions to PPCC. Activities for children will include hula hoops, face painting and bubbles.

    Pleasant View Baptist Church will celebrate its Choir Appreciation Day on Sunday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. 

    Point Pleasant Christian Church Youth yard/bake sale will be held Thursday, Aug. 25 and Friday, Aug. 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds go to the shoebox postage fund.
