    Laurie Beth Grigsby and William H. Clark Jr. (BJ) of Frankfort announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Bobby and Doris Grigsby and Ricky and Ellen Rynes, all of Eminence.

    The groom-elect is the son of William H. Clark Sr, New Castle and Barbara Flack, Crestwood.

    The wedding will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Pleasureville Baptist Church.

  • Engagement - Korthaus-McCall

    Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Korthaus of Smithfield announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Fran Korthaus to David McCall, son of Michael and Cheryl McCall of Crestwood.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Western Kentucky and University of Kentucky and works at the McLean County Cooperative Extension office as the 4-H  Youth Development Agent in Calhoun.

    The groom-elect is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and works at Grand Meadow Farms in Crestwood.

  • Engagement: Parrish-Franklin

    Virgil and Mary Ann Parrish announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Megan Parrish to Adam Franklin, son of Mark and Carren Franklin.

    The wedding will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Whitehall Historic Home and Gardens in Louisville. A reception will immediately follow.  All friends and family are invited to attend.

  • Engagement - Dunaway-Wolf

    Alan and Rosie Dunaway of Port Royal announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Rosalee Dunaway to Scott Daniel Wolf, son of Robert and Sherry Wolf of Crestwood.

    The wedding will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at New Castle Christian Church. A reception will immediately follow in the gym of the church. All family and friends are invited to attend.

    The couple asks everyone to donate a can of lemonade or canned food to be donated to Central Café, a place that feeds approximately 350 to 400 people weekly.

    The groom elect is the son of Judy Bohannon, Bagdad and the late Johnny Bohannon and a 2001 graduate of Shelby County High School.
    The wedding will take place on July 2, 2011. Invitations will be sent.

    Joe and Sharon Barmore of Smithfield announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha Jo Barmore to Bryan Michael Bonner, son of Kurt and Mary Ellen Bonner of Maineville, Ohio.

    The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Henry County High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgetown College. She is employed by the Harrison County Board of Education as an elementary teacher.

    The groom-elect graduated from Kings High School in 2005 and from Georgetown College in 2009. He is employed as a loan processor at United Bank in Georgetown.

    The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Henry County High School and 2005 graduate of EKU. She is currently employed at OVEC Eminence Head Start.

    The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Eminence Independent School. He is currently employed at Cook’s Pharmacy in Eminence.
