  • Glenn Earl and Lois Jean (Chilton) Dowden will celebrate their 60th anniversary on May 28, 2012. They were married by Bro. Fitzpatrick at Campbellsburg Baptist Church after a courtship as high school sweethearts. Glenn retired as a farmer raising cattle, hay and tobacco. Lois raised their children and was a homemaker. She later attended school and became a CNA for Old Mason’s Home in Shelbyville.

  • Rick and Radonna Thornton of Bardstown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Felicia Marie Smith of Port Royal  to Michael Rabourn of Port Royal, son of Rodney and Nickie Rabourn of Carrollton.

    The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Henry County High School and attends Jefferson Community College in Carrollton where she is majoring in nursing. She is employed part time by both Carroll County Memorial Hospital and Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville as a nurse’s aide.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Edwin and Yunmi Foote announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hannah Foote to Matthew Morrison, son of Gary and Vickie Morrison of Campbellsburg.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of University of Kentucky with a bachelor of science in nursing.  She is employed as a registered nurse at Waldman Schantz Plastic Surgery in Lexington.

    The groom-elect received a bachelor of arts in international studies from the University of Kentucky. He is employed as the general manager of Smashburger in Lexington.
