  • Izabelle Miller and Mason Thomas would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Layla Blake Thomas, born on July 11, 2016, at Baptist Health in La Grange. She weighed five pounds, seven ounces and was 18 inches long.

    The Trimble County Hymnsing will be held Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Callis Grove Camp Ground off New Hope Road and 421 in Bedford.

    Cameron Rogers, 20, Crestwood — arrested July 5 at Interstate 71, 32 mile marker south bound, by Trooper Brown for DUI; failure to wear seatbelt; reckless driving; driving too fast for conditions; and possession of open alcohol container in vehicle

    Pleasant View Baptist Church will celebrate its Men’s Day on Sunday, July 17, at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Rev. Lloyd Watkins, associate pastor of Kenwood Northeast Baptist Church, Crestwood. The focus of the Men’s Day program is on family and friends, “Each One Bring One.”  Lunch will be served immediately after the morning service.
