  • Nadine Glenrose Roberts Wilson celebrated her 93rd birthday on June 13, 2011, with family and friends at Homestead Nursing Home.  She was born June 13, 1918, to W.B. and Lou Lily Roberts of Shelby County. She had four brothers and five sisters. She was married to Harry Lee Wilson for 60 years. They had three children, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

  • Amy Michelle Lee of Pleasureville and Christopher Glenn Bohannon of Pleasureville were united in marriage on May 27, 2011. The wedding took place at 1 p.m. in New Castle and was officiated by John Logan Brent.

    The bride is a 1998 graduate of Henry County High School, a 2005 graduate of The Hair Design School and 2009 graduate of Pj’s College of Cosmetology. She is currently employed as Co-Director and Instructor at Pj’s College of Cosmetology in Crestwood. She is the daughter of James and Dana Lee of Bethlehem.

    The groom elect is the son of Judy Bohannon, Bagdad and the late Johnny Bohannon and a 2001 graduate of Shelby County High School.
    The wedding will take place on July 2, 2011. Invitations will be sent.

  • Joe and Sharon Barmore of Smithfield announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha Jo Barmore to Bryan Michael Bonner, son of Kurt and Mary Ellen Bonner of Maineville, Ohio.

    The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Henry County High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgetown College. She is employed by the Harrison County Board of Education as an elementary teacher.

    The groom-elect graduated from Kings High School in 2005 and from Georgetown College in 2009. He is employed as a loan processor at United Bank in Georgetown.
