  • WEDDING - Colbert

    Tony S. Colbert, formerly of Port Royal, and Janelyn L. Jimenez of Iloilo Cinty, Philippines were united in marriage on Oct. 27, 2011, at Naval Air Station Chapel, Pensacola, Fla.

    Tony is employed as a correctional officer at Roederer Correctional Complex in La Grange. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 2000.

    The couple resides in Carrollton.

    Samantha Barmore and Bryan Bonner exchanged wedding vows at Georgetown college’s John L. Hill Chapel on Oct. 8, 2011.

    The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Terry Johnson, Eminence Presbyterian Church, and Father Nick Pagano, Lexington. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Joe and Sharon Barmore of Smithfield.

    The groom is the son of Greg and Sharon Silvers of Bethlehem. He attended Henry County High School and is a graduate of University of Louisville Speed Engineering School. He is an Engineer at United Parcel Service.

She is currently employed as Co-Director and Instructor at Pj’s College of Cosmetology in Crestwood. She is the daughter of James and Dana Lee of Bethlehem.

    The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Linda Yount of Pleasureville. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Louisville and is currently employed as the Dean of Graduate Admission at Bellarmine University.

    The groom is the son of Lou and Diana Pettingill of Ft. Meyers, Fla. He has his master’s degree from Capitol College and is currently employed with Humana, Inc.
