  • Banta-Benham

    Cameron Banta and Nicole Benham of Bethlehem announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

    The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Anderson County High School and is employed with Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort.

    The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Henry County High School and also is employed with Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort.

    The wedding will take place in Gatlinburg, Tenn.,  at the end of June 2012.

  • WEDDING - Colbert

    Tony S. Colbert, formerly of Port Royal, and Janelyn L. Jimenez of Iloilo Cinty, Philippines were united in marriage on Oct. 27, 2011, at Naval Air Station Chapel, Pensacola, Fla.

    Tony is employed as a correctional officer at Roederer Correctional Complex in La Grange. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 2000.

    The couple resides in Carrollton.

    Samantha Barmore and Bryan Bonner exchanged wedding vows at Georgetown college’s John L. Hill Chapel on Oct. 8, 2011.

    The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Terry Johnson, Eminence Presbyterian Church, and Father Nick Pagano, Lexington. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Joe and Sharon Barmore of Smithfield.

    Amber Nicole Nelson and Jeremy Joseph Silvers were united in marriage on June 11, 2011, at Highland Baptist Church in Louisville.

    The bride is the daughter of Ricky and Denise Nelson of Louisville. She attended Fern Creek High School and is a graduate of Indiana University Southeast. She is a teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools.

    The groom is the son of Greg and Sharon Silvers of Bethlehem. He attended Henry County High School and is a graduate of University of Louisville Speed Engineering School. He is an Engineer at United Parcel Service.

    Bonnie Dale Estes and Rich Clemons of Bethlehem were united in marriage on Sept. 3, 2011. The wedding was held at their home with Nick Hawkins officiating the ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Billy Ray Payton and Betty Jean Hamilton, both of New Castle.

    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Clemons of Florence.

    After a honeymoon trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple lives in Bethlehem.
     

  • Grigsby, Clark exchanged vows Sept. 10

    Laurie Beth Grigsby and William Harold (B.J.) Clark Jr of Frankfort were united in marriage at 1 p.m., Sept. 10, 2011.

    The wedding was held at Pleasureville Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Eastman officiating the ceremony. Music was “Tangled Up in You” by Aaron Lewis and “Only You Can Love me this Way” by Keith Urban.

    Amy Michelle Lee of Pleasureville and Christopher Glenn Bohannon of Pleasureville were united in marriage on May 27, 2011. The wedding took place at 1 p.m. in New Castle and was officiated by John Logan Brent.

    The bride is a 1998 graduate of Henry County High School, a 2005 graduate of The Hair Design School and 2009 graduate of Pj’s College of Cosmetology. She is currently employed as Co-Director and Instructor at Pj’s College of Cosmetology in Crestwood. She is the daughter of James and Dana Lee of Bethlehem.

  • WEDDING: Pettingill

    Sara E. Yount and Jeffrey L. Pettingill, both of Louisville, were united in marriage Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, in Kauai, Hawaii. Todd Fuerte officiated the ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Linda Yount of Pleasureville. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Louisville and is currently employed as the Dean of Graduate Admission at Bellarmine University.

    The groom is the son of Lou and Diana Pettingill of Ft. Meyers, Fla. He has his master’s degree from Capitol College and is currently employed with Humana, Inc.

    Jeremiah Nichols and Davida Bailey of Eminence were united in marriage on October 25, 2010 at Duncan Memorial Chapel in Crestwood.

    The honor attendants were friends of the bride, Coley Wentworth, Eminence; and Amanda Joiner, Shepherdsville. Junior bridesmaids were Alexis Bailey, daughter of the bride, and flower girl was Kaleigh Nichols, daughter of the groom.
