Former Henry County Lady Cat softball player Ally Vaughn recently completed her

freshman year as a first basemen and outfielder at the University of Louisville.

Playing for a Division I school has allowed her to travel the country.

“My college experience as a player and student has been great,” Vaughn said. “I have made a lot of new friends and gotten to experience a lot of things. I got to travel the U.S. with the softball team from Las Vegas to Florida to New York City, to Rhode Island, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Notre Dame.
