  • Beulah Marsh

    Beulah Berry Marsh, age 90 of Carrollton, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Green Valley Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Laura Mae Hawkins.
    She is survived by her daughter, Sherron Roberts, Turners Station.
    Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home. Interment was in Port Royal Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the funeral home.
     

  • Adelyn O’Nan

    Adelyn Marie O’Nan, age 77 of Lexington, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. She was born in Sturgis, on Sept. 26, 1935, to the late William Sylvester 0’Nan and Marie Martin O’nan.

  • Katheryn Vance

    Katheryn Vance, age 92 of Campbellsburg, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at The Richwood in La Grange. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Cordelia (Collins) Ransdell.
    She is survived by one son, Robert Vance, III, Pleasureville.
    Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Rucker of Campbellsburg officiated. Interment was in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation was held at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the funeral home.
     

  • Eugene Watson

    Eugene Watson, age 81 of New Castle, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his residence. He was the son of the late Robert F. and Mary Etta Clements Watson and a United States Navy veteran.

    He is survived by his wife, Lucy Grider Watson, New Castle; one son, Tim Watson, New Castle; two daughters: Sharon Heady, Fisherville; Teresa Jones, Bedford.

  • Nancy Ball

    Nancy Lee Fugate Ball, age 69 of Bedford, died Nov. 7, 2012 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Evertt Fugate and Martha Fugate .
    She is survived by her daughter, Tambra Lee Ball Fox, Bedford.
    Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Antioch Baptist Church. Brother Clint officiated. Interment was in Campbellsburg Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church.
    Ransdell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
     

  • Thelma Taylor Gayhart

    Thelma Taylor Gayhart, age 83 of Louisville, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at The Episcopal Church Home.  She was a member of Eminence Baptist Church, a VFW Middletown member, a member of Eastern Star Foree Chapter, a member of NRA, a notary and a business woman.
    She is survived by her daughter, Sally Suter; granddaughters, Ashley Perry and Adrienne Adams; grandson, John Taylor Suter; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,  James Taylor.

  • Eurith Self

    Eurith Black Self, age 83 of Saint Matthews died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was the daughter of the late George Morris and Rosa Bell Webb Black.
    She is survived by her son, Roy “Tony” Self and daughter, Sonja Dineene Bradley, both of Louisville.
    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville. The Rev. Don Waterfill will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home.

  • Kathy Stangle

    Kathy (Conley) Stangle, age 49 of Turners Station, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Baptist East Hospital.
    She is survived by her husband, Stephen Stangle, Turners Station; Nathan Stangle, Turners Station; her mother, Lena (Delong) Conley, Middletown; her father, Lawrence Conley, Pasadena, Texas.
    Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.

  • Samuel Booher

    Samuel Z. Booher, age 72 of Smithfield, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his residence. Son of the late William and Mabel Thompson Booher, Sam was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving in the 101st Airborne Division. He served as the State Adjutant for the Disabled American Veterans, Commander of the Henry County DAV Chapter 155, was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of New Castle First Baptist Church.

  • Rev. Lowell Buss

    The Reverend Lowell W. Buss, age 76 of Louisville, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. He was the son of the late Benhard and Esther Buss.
    He is survived by his children: Tim Buss and Leah Mull.
    Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Christ Lutheran Church, 9212 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, Ky., 40299. Visitation was from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday at the church.
