Vernon Mae Vest Nation, age 63 of Frankfort, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by two nieces and three nephews.
Cremation was chosen. Sholar Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
 

astle died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Homestead Nursing Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Alvin and Anna (Adams) Gilbert. She joined New Castle First Baptist Church in 1947 and started the church nursery. She helped with first grade Sunday school class and then taught the junior girls class. She served on the social committee for more than 30 years. Lennie was a member of the Henry County Farmerette Homemakers for more than 40 years.

Daniel Frank (Danny) Endris, age 71 of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. He was born in New Albany, Ind., and was the son of the late Frank and Marie Heilig Endris. He was a farmer and was retired from General Electric. He was a member of Point Pleasant Christian Church, Pleasureville Masonic Lodge #410, Lockport  Masonic Lodge #772, Order of the Eastern Star Carl Adams Chapter #490 and the Louisville Scottish Rite.

Percy Kephart, 91

Percy Kephart, age 91 of New Castle, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at his home following a long illness. A native of Pleasureville, he was the son of the late J.W. and Fannie Arnsparger Kephart.
