     What is your favorite subject?

    Math. Math comes easiest to me. I like multiplication, addition, division and subtraction.

    Do you have any pets?

    Two cats Milo and She Ra.

    If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?

    I would go to D.C. and visit the president at the White House.

    I want to ask him questions about why he wants to be president and what you have to do to become a president. I want to know why he likes being president.

    Jeremiah is in the 3rd grade at Eminence.

    What is your favorite subject?
    Math. I love addition, math, subtraction and multiplication.

    Do you have any pets?
    My cat Roxy and she’s gray.

    If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
    To Miami because that is where my favorite team is the Miami Dolphins.

    What do you want to be when you grow up?
    I want to be a quarterback and play football.

  • YOCO poster contest winners

    Ms. Lund’s third grade class at Eastern Elementary School  was recently rewarded with an ice cream party for winning the Red Ribbon Week poster contest sponsored by Youth Coalition. For the Halloween-themed contest, Ms. Lund’s class created a poster covered in spiders with the slogan, “We’d rather eat bugs than do drugs!” Youth Coalition members that visited the students at Eastern this past week to provide the ice cream party were Madison Pittman, Mackenzie Pittman and Kennedy Fitzgerald (back row with Ms. Lund).

  • Eminence High School Student of the Week

    Justin is a sophmore at Eminence High School.

    What is your favorite subject?
    Biology. The human body has so many interesting systems inside of it.
    What do you plan to do after high school?
    I want to get a bachelors in business and a masters in communication. They are broad degrees that I could use in a lot of careers.
    What do you like to do for fun?
    Play basketball, football, and baseball. I like football most of all. Michael Vick is my favorite quarterback. He is versatile. He can run and pass and he has a high football IQ.

    Chandler is a HCHS senior from Bethlehem.
    What is your favorite subject?
    Ag class. You learn and cover so many different courses every thing from animal science to green houses.
    What do you plan to do after high school?
    I would like to study criminal justice and become a state trooper. You would do something different everyday and exciting and help the community in the process.

    Eminence Elementary School Students of the Month for November: Nova Schack, Gavin Matthews, Alekzander Lentini, Zackery Newton, Aurora Estes, Megan Sweeney, Justin Blevins, Taylor Lyon, Maya Dalton, Avery Stivers, Tayten Clark, Isabella Coffee, Alexis Roby and Andrew Rodgers.   • YOCO visits GEMS

    Several Youth Coalition young ladies visited with the Girls Empowered and Motivated to Succeed (GEMS) group at Campbellsburg Elementary School during Red Ribbon Week. YoCo members led the girls in a fun craft activity that helped them identify their goals for life, then explained how being involved with drugs, alcohol and tobacco would interfere with reaching those goals.
