This year HCHS has 38 students who have been offered approximately $838,150 in scholarship money. With the KEES money added to this the 2011 seniors will have about $1 million to be used over the next four years.

On Saturday, April 16, one of four regional RCX robotics tournaments was held at Henry County Middle School. There were 32 teams in attendance from Henry, Shelby, Oldham, Carroll, and Gallatin Counties. Students from Transylvania University served as judges for the tournament. The

Your principal says you’re career and college-ready, where do you want to attend college?
Northern Kentucky University is a good option or U of L. I will major in orthodontics and minor in agriculture business. “Mrs. Davie (ag teacher) is so passionate, she made me like it,” Carothers said.
What’s your career choice?
I want to be an orthodontist. I’ve had braces twice and my orthodontist always keeps it upbeat.
The Eminence Independent School Library sponsored the Eminence Middle School Battle of the Books from April 18-29. The Battle of the Books was a huge success with more than 50 students in the battle. This is the 6th year that Eminence Middle School has participated in the Battle of the Books!
