    What is your favorite subject?

    Math. I get to do multiplication and subtraction, adding and all of that kind of stuff.

    I get to learn more stuff when I do multiplication. That’s why I like it.

     

    What do you want to do when you grow up?

    Help my dad on the farm. We have about 170 acres. We have cows and tobacco.

    What is your favorite subject?

    Math. I am really good at it and I don’t get confused. It’s fun and simple for me. I’m one of the ones in my class that understand it so other students ask me a lot of questions about it. It makes me feel wanted.

     

    Are you in any school organizations?

    Cheerleading.

     

    What do you do for fun?

    Shopping and hanging out with friends. We gossip, plan parties and go shopping together.

    Animal science.

    FCA, Pep club, BETA, NHS, FFA President, basketball, soccer.

    What do you do for fun?

    Hang out with friends and spend time with family.

    What do you want to be when you grow up?

    I want to be either an agricultural engineer or a primary education teacher.
     

    Any plans after high school like college?

    Go to UK, Kentucky State or Berea.

  • HCHS CLASS OF 1963

    Henry County High School Class of 1963 celebrated their 50th class reunion on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Claudia Sanders. Forty-four class members attended. Five teachers attended,  Martha Tarry Simpson, Hammer Smith, Harry Mitchell, E.P. Smith and Fred Rice.

  • Eminence Middle School Student of the Week Jacob Shaw

     

    Jacob is in the 8th grade.

    What is your favorite subject?

    Science, I’m really good at it and I’m interested in science and nature. I know things most people don’t like the chemicals H20 and carbon.

    What do you want to be when you grow up?

    I want to be a computer hardware engineer. I like messing with computers. If I have a problem with my computer, I can figure out what is wrong with it by looking at the software.

    Alexis is a third grader at Eminence Elementary School.

     

    What  is your favorite subject?

    Reading. It explains things like when you are doing word math problems.

    What do you want to be when you grow up?

    Maybe a 5th grade teacher. When I pass the 5th grade, I can learn to be one.

    Do you have any pets?

    Two labs Holly and Guinness and a baby rottweiler named Bear.

    What kind of music do you like?

    I like hip-hop.

    Maddy is a kindergartener at New Castle Elementary School.

    What is your favorite subject so far?

    Math. We add and subtract things. I like recess where we get to play outside. I get to play with friends.

    Do you have any pets?

    3 baby cats: Tanner, Lex and Rex, and one mommy cat Roxy.

    What do you do for fun at home?

    I like activities where you learn. I play outside and on the swings and slides. I play with my toys in my room like my fairy Jewel. I like to color.

    Eli is a 5th grader at Campbellsburg Elementary School.

    Are you ready for middle school?

    No, I don’t want to go.

    What is your favorite subject?

    Reading. It gives you the free chance to read on your own and improve your reading.

    What do you do for fun?

    I like to race my bikes. I used to do Kid Enduro and I crashed a couple of times and sprained my wrist going up and down hills. I’m hoping I get an Apollo dirt bike for Christmas, but I don’t know.

    Josh is a 4th grader at Eastern Elementary

    What is your favorite subject?

    Math. Since I started school it has been the easiest subject for me. Multiplication and division are easy.

    What do you do for fun?

    I play basketball. My favorite team is USA’s basketball team and UK. I used to be a UofL fan but I just got out of (liking) UofL.

    Do you like to read?

    I like to read graphic novels—comic books. I want to collect them, but I don’t.
