    Angelina is in the 8th grade at Eminence Middle School.

     

    What is your favorite subject?

    History. I would consider it easy for me and I like writing too since I use it in other classes. I like ancient history not anything recent.

     

    What do you for fun?

    I cheerlead and play soccer. I like to talk with my friends.

     

    Do you have any pets?

    I have a dog named Sugar.

    Language Arts because you get to write. I write about my cousin he makes me laugh.

  • YoCo attends drinking prevention conference

    Several members of Youth Coalition traveled to a regional underage drinking prevention conference in Louisville last week to provide a presentation titled, “Empowering Youth to be Agents of Change.” Members that attended were, from left to right: Morgan Miller, Sophie Hughes, Ethan McCleskey, Rebecca Spreitzer, Shelby Abrams and Renee Toole.

    Math. I like how you work the problems. You have to be patient to work  them out.

    I like to dance and do gymnastics.

    Country music. I like Justin Bieber.

    Derek is in the fourth grade at Eastern Elementary School.

     

    What is your favorite subject?

    Science. I like all the different kinds of experiments you get to do. One time we took a tin and put a straw and a balloon on it. When it was hot outside it would expand.

     

    Do you have any pets?

    A dog named Bella.

     

    What do you do for fun?

    Ride my bike and my go-cart in our back field. I also like playing Madden 2013.

  • Eastern is holding Recess for Relay

    Ms. Powell’s 5th grade class is excited about Relay Recess Activities this week at Eastern Elementary.  This week we are focusing on teaching the students habits that will enable them to lead healthy lives.
    On Thursday and Friday we are having school wide survivor walks in the afternoon.  Students are working on posters and signs to honor those who have fought the battle against cancer.
