    Eminence Elementary School March students of the month.   • Eminence Elementary School Student of the Week

    Emma is a 2nd grader at Eminence Elementary.

    What is your favorite subject?

    Math. I like the fun activities we do with math problems. Today we went out side and measured a house, the monkey bars, the high climbing wall and the low climbing wall with a meter stick.

    What do you do for fun?

    I play outside. We act like we build stuff in the sandbox and the clubhouse my dad built. I also like to throw balls for my dog Champ.

  • Registration for Eminence preschool/ kindergarten 2013-2014 school rear

    Registration for Eminence Preschool will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday April 18, and from 9 a.m. to 1p.m., Friday, April 19, at Eminence Elementary School.
    If your child will be 4 years old by Oct. 1, he or she can be registered for the EIS preschool program. Screening is necessary for placement, so it is important to bring your child with you.
    Three-year-old children with a disability or developmental delay can be screened as well.

  • What should I bring to registration?

    Please be ready to present the following documents at registration. These documents must be provided in order for your child to register:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Proof of Income — 4-year-old whose family income is no more than 150 percent above the poverty level.
    • Valid Kentucky immunization certificate
    • Emergency Contact information
    • Proof of residency (drivers license or bill w/ street address)
    • Other health impairments will be discussed during registration

  • New Castle Elementary School Student of the Week: Brianna Curry

    Brianna is a 3rd grader at New Castle Elementary School.

    What is your favorite subject?

    I like science because you learn about snow and rain and the Earth.

    Do you have any pets?

    Two dogs: Jimma and Dixie. Two cats: Domino and Tiger.

    What do you do for fun?

    I like to watch movies. I like the Chipmunks it’s funny and dogs and cats. I also like to go to the stores and go shopping at the mall.

  • Eastern Elementary School Academic Team

    Eastern Elementary School’s Academic Team competed in Regionals at Centerfield Elementary School on March 23. Desmond Richardson placed 2nd in science and Maggie Jackey placed 4th in language arts.  Eastern’s future problem solving team placed 4th and the quick recall team placed 4th.  The Eastern Team was awarded the Hume Sportsmanship Award.

  • Student of the week: Eminence High School Ethan Cornett

    Ethan is a junior at Eminence High School.

    What is your favorite subject?

    I really like history because it gives me inspiration for things I can make videos of later on .

    What do you want to do after school?

    Making movies, education purpose videos. I am more interested in making videos that reach the most people: funny videos, awesome videos, action or adventure. I hope to go to NKU and get a degree in video production.
