    Sarah is a 6th grader at Henry County Middle School.

    What is your favorite subject?
    Math. I like our teacher. She’s nice and she makes class fun by bringing different things in to teach it.
    What would you like to do when you grow up?
    I want to be a baker. I like to make red velvet cakes and cupcakes.
    Do you have any pets?
    I have two dogs and two Gunieas pigs. My dogs are named Sammy and Max. My Gunieas are named Porky and Guss.
    What kind of music do you like?
    I like country music.

    Do you have land? A part of a PVA’s job is to value it. The bigger the land the bigger the value.

    Another part of a PVA’s job is to produce revenue for most local services .These services are paid for by taxes.

    If this job didn’t exist there would be a lack of  funding for local services such as schools. If it didn’t exist our schools wouldn’t be as good as they are right now.

    Raeleigh is the daughter of Jennifer West and Jason Dixie, and is in kindergarten at Eminence Elementary.

     

    What is your favorite subject?

    Math, I like adding.

    What would you like to do when you grow up?

    A nurse. I like giving shots.

    Do you have any pets?

    A dog: Minnie Pooh.

    What kind of music do you like?

    Justin Bieber.

    What do you do for fun?

    Play with my Barbie House. I play in my playroom.

    Melvin is in the 4th grade at New Castle Elementary School.

    What is your favorite subject?

    Math because I am good at subtraction, addition and some division. It’s fun because you get to play games with math.

    If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?

    California so I could meet famous people. There is a person who lives in California named Tobuscus who designs Minecraft gaming stuff.

    Do you have any pets?

    I have a Chihuahua named Junior.

    Leah is a 5th grader at Campbellsburg Elementary.

     

    What is your favorite subject?

    Math. Multiplication because you have to remember your multiplication times (table).

    What would you like to do when you grow up?

    I want to be a veterinarian technician. I love animals and I hate how people treat them badly.

    Do you have any pets?

    A cat, Guinea pig and dog. Cat: Gracie, Guineau pig: Patches, Dog: Buddy.

    What kind of music do you like?

    The song Gangham style.

    Michael is a 3rd grader at Eastern Elementary.
    What is your favorite subject?
    Math. I like division. I like writing some.
    What would you like to do when you grow up?
    I would like to be a farmer when I grow up. You don’t have to pay so much money to get food. I like being outside and going outside in the woods.

    Do you have any pets?
    One cat. Don’t have a name.

    What kind of music do you like?
    I don’t really have a favorite.

  • HCMS Academic team finishes season

    The Henry County Middle School ended their season on February 6th with Regional Governor’s Cup Competition at Immaculate Heart Mary School in Burlington with the quick recall team placing 4th and HCMS receiving the Hume Sportsmanship award.  The Wildcats finished their league in 2nd place with a 5-1 record, and then went on to district competition where they had seven students advance to regionals.
