A new chapter of the National Association for Black Veterans, or NABVETS, has set up its headquarters in Henry County to provide services in the region, according to the commander and vice commander.
The new chapter formed after Kathleen Curch-Gray moved from Louisville to Oldham County, and she wanted to continue her involvement with NABVETS, she said. That motivated her to form a new chapter to cover Henry, Oldham, Shelby, Owen, Gallatin, Carroll and Trimble counties.
