Once a landmark on Kentucky 22 in Bethlehem, Cecil Peyton’s Barber Shop recently received an extreme makeover. The venerable one-chair men’s haircut emporium has been transformed into the sleek and chic Salon 22.
Proprietress Amy Lyons said Peyton closed the shop in 2002 and has since passed away.
“A lot of people remember Cecil,” she said. “My dad got his hair cut by Cecil Peyton.”
