  • Swimmer’s ear a common, but treatable, problem

    Memorial Day is right around the corner.  This means it is time for one of my favorite activities - Swimming!  Kids and adults alike will soon be soaking up some sun as they splash in pools, lakes, and sprinklers.  It’s all fun and games until the next day when someone wakes up complaining of a terrible earache.  Swimmer’s ear is definitely a dreaded pain of summer.

  • Yard sale season: eliminate unused items

    Late spring and early summer are popular times of year for yard sales. Yard sales can often be a win-win for both the buyer and the seller. As people transition from winter to summer by cleaning out closets and spring cleaning they often notice the amount of stuff that has accumulated in their house over the last several months (or years).

  • Phase I Cost Share Program ready to begin

    All Henry County farmers and landowners are reminded that the Phase I Tobacco Money Cost Share Program is about to begin. We’ve just been notified that the Kentucky Agriculture Development Board gave the go-ahead this past Friday, May 17, for the Henry County Cattleman’s Association to serve as program administrator for approximately $243,000 of Henry County Agriculture Development Funds to be offered through the County Agriculture Investment Program.

    History. I would consider it easy for me and I like writing too since I use it in other classes. I like ancient history not anything recent.

    I cheerlead and play soccer. I like to talk with my friends.

    Amanda Lee announces the birth of her son, Brantley Jaxon Lee born May 5, 2013, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
