It was a rough week for the Ladycats of Henry County. After falling 35-44 at home against Shelby County, Henry County fell hard at Gallatin, 27-76.
Missed free throws were critical in the Shelby game, Henry County head coach Todd Gilley said.
“We were 11 of 30 from the free throw line,” he said. “We got beat by 9. It didn’t take long to figure out that if we’d hit our free throws, we would’ve won.”
Gilley said missing that many free throws is mental, and a symptom of frustration on the part of the players.
