Henry County, my home for nearly 40 years, is also the home of successful business owners, lawyers, farmers, doctors, civic leaders, public servants, laborers and many other hardworking individuals.
Once again I write about the potential effects on Henry Countians from the Senate’s “repeal and replace” legislation on health insurance, which refuses to die in the U.S. Senate.
Depending on who you ask, Kentucky’s public pension systems are short somewhere between $64 billion to $84 billion. If Kentuckians over the age of 18 were responsible for paying the more conservative estimate of $64 billion, they would each have to shell out $20,000.
