Local Golfers competing in Mussleman-Dunne junior tour

Alex Hadden and Isaac Klempner are back on the Mussleman-Dunne Junior Golf Tour for a second season. Hadden has competed in three events and Klempner in four events in the boys 11-12 age division.

MacKenzie Peyton also competed in the girls’ championship division in four tour events.

Hadden won two of the tournaments he has entered, shooting 75 at Stone Crest Golf Course to win the KIA Classic on May 18 and 19. He shot another 75 at Seneca Golf Course on May 25 and 26 to take top honors.

The Henry County High School basketball team’s youth basketball camp was a big success this year according to coach Enoch Welch.

The Henry County Little League Spring Fling baseball tournament was May 22. The Rockies (above left) beat the White Sox (above right) 8-3 in the 8-10 year old division to claim first place. The White Sox finished as runners-up.
