Somewhere, midway through the season, the Henry County boys golf team lost its punch.
The lack of punch showed, Henry County head coach Barney Sutley said.
In the NCKC tournament, the boys finished fifth out of seven teams. The team’s best performance came from Nathan Parish, who shot an 84, about 12 strokes better than his average for the season.
Senior Matt Ricketts also shot an 84, and the team’s other seniors each shot a 94. “So, definitely not as good as we could’ve done,” Sutley said.
