  • Cats compete at CAL

    The Henry County Wildcat track team traveled to Louisville on Saturday to compete in the Harry Greschel Invitational Meet at Christian Academy of Louisville.

    Cathryn Fischer led the girls’ team with an impressive performance in the 300 hurdles and Austin Armstrong had an encouraging result to lead the boys team.

    Coach Sed Williams was pleased with some of the performances of his team in their first big outdoor meet of the season.

  • Warriors fall to Waggener; Seneca

    The EHS Warriors traveled to Louisville on Mar. 19 and 20 to play Seneca and Waggener, respectively. On Mar. 19 they lost to Seneca 13-0 and on the 20th they lost Waggener 20-2.

  • Lady Cats down Lady Raiders

    The Henry County Lady Cats opened their season with a slugfest against Trimble County on Friday evening in Bedford. The Lady Cats fell behind early and then battled back to win the game 13-8.

    Freshman Shelby Ray who had 5 RBIs for the Cats knocked in the winning run in the 6th with a groundout that scored senior Krista DeBurger.

  • Warriors dominate early

    The Eminence Warriors started the season off on the right foot with a 10-8 victory at Lexington Christian, and followed that up with a 15-0 trouncing of Beth Haven the next night.

    The Warriors opened their home schedule against Beth Haven with 9 runs in the first inning, settling the outcome early.

    The Warriors showed patience at the plate in drawing several walks and getting timely hitting from Savannah Mertz, who had two doubles in the game. The Warriors drew seven walks in the first inning and were helped by a passed ball and wild pitch from Beth Haven.

  • Selection Sunday leads to Blue...

     

     

    The mood in Big Blue nation on Monday must have matched the weather outside… dreary.

    The Wildcats have tumbled from the heights of a national championship in 2012 to the depths of playing in Moon Township, Penn., in the first round of the NIT this year.

  • EHS boys open season with two...

    The Eminence Warriors opened the season with two games on the road last week. On Thursday they fell to Valley 11-1. On Friday Bullitt Central defeated the Warriors 15-1.

     

    Valley 11, EHS1

    The Warriors started the season by scoring a run in the top of the first inning at Valley but the Warriors couldn’t generate any more offense the rest of the way. Valley tied the score in the bottom of the first and then went on to score in each inning thereafter to win by 10 runs in seven innings.
