    All four high school teams from Henry County — HCHS volleyball, EHS volleyball, HCHS boys’ soccer and HCHS girls’ soccer — were eliminated in the opening round of the postseason Oct. 13. Afterwards, Oldham County went on the sweep the 16th District soccer tournaments and Shelby County came away with the title in the 28th District volleyball tourney.

    Boo!!! Did I scare you? I thought three exclamation points instead of one might do the trick, but probably not. For some reason, I don’t have the same scare tactics that I used to when I would hide behind every corner this time of the year in hopes of making a family member or friend jump out of their shoes — those were the days.
