Scott McClamroch left the Shelby County Invitational with mixed emotions on Saturday. With limited training, illnesses and injuries, he did not know what to expect.
The Eminence cross-country coach said he was happy with his runners but a little disappointed in most of the times on the 5,000-meter hilly course. The meet included dozens of teams, hundreds of runners and eight total races. As the meet got rolling, the weather warmed up and the crowd started to grow.
