‘Mousetrap’ will be sprung at high school

Murder and Intrigue come to the Stage at Henry County High School as HCPS Theatre is proud to announce its production of “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie. 

The original production of “The Mousetrap” in London is the longest running play of all time, having been in constant production since 1952. 

Well known for the many twists and turns, complex characters and brilliant ending, it is easy to see why this play has stood the test of time.
Agatha Christie is arguably the greatest mystery writer of all time, having created memorable characters such as Poirot and Mrs. Marple.  

A prolific writer whose works have graced the stage, radio, television and big screen, she is beloved and revered by authors and readers alike.
“The Mousetrap” cast includes Jessie Archer as Mollie Ralston, Austin Preston as Giles Ralston, Joseph Langevin as Christopher Wren, Madison Rucker as Ms. Casewell, Terralynn Smith as Mrs. Boyle, Caleb Potts as Major Metcalf, Gabe Hughes as Paravicini and Frankie Taylor as Detective Sergeant Trotter. 

Olivia Barzcynski is the stage manager and the crew consists of Miranda Bramblett, Callie Newman and Abbi Warren. Performances will be Thursday, Nov. 20, Friday Nov. 21 and Saturday Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday Nov. 23 at 3 pm.  

All performances are in the John W. Smith, Jr. Auditorium at Henry County High School.

The box office will also be open one hour prior to all performances.
