Wednesday, February 6

Girls in Action (GAs) of Cropper Baptist Church meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to girls through age 12.

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children's Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Community Library open to the public from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

HCMS Site-Based District Meeting will be held in the HCMS Conference room at 4 p.m.

Eastern Elementary Site-Based Council meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the school library.

Pleasureville Christian Church will hold Ash Wednesday services at 6 p.m. All are invited.

Thursday, February 7

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, February 8

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, February 10 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, February 12 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Friday at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Church.

Immaculate Conception Church in Lagrange will have a Fish Fry every Friday through March 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. Fried Boston scrod, shrimp, hushpuppies, homemade mac and cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, green beans, French fries, nachos, pizza,and desserts, Dine in or carry out.

Saturday, February 9

The Loving Hands Ministry, a knitting and crochet group, will meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Patterns and information are available. Please contact Carolyn Giltner at (502) 845-4908 or (502) 845-4139 for more information.

Sunday, February 10

The Grief Support Group for people dealing with the loss of a loved one or close friend will meet at 3 p.m. at the Henry Christian Church. The group meets the second Sunday of each month.

New Castle Community Chorus is rehearsing at 6 p.m. at the New Castle United Methodist Church. Anyone who enjoys choral singing is welcome. Please call Barry at (502) 445-1960 for more information.

Monday, February 11

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University will be held at 7 p.m. weekly at the Henry County Public Library in Eminence. Class is sponsored by Harvest Community Church.

The Henry County Band Boosters monthly meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Henry County Middle School commons area. Prior to the meeting, the annual Future Planning Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. All band parents are encouraged to attend both meetings. Please enter through the band room door at the side of the building.

Tuesday, February 12

The Alateen "Together We Can Make It" group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Adult Education and GED classes offered at the Wendy Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 845-0307.

The KY Cowboy Church will be holding Bible study every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

Saturday, February 16

The Henry County Band students are holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser at Applebees in LaGrange from 8 to 10 a.m. Students will be serving and appreciate your support. Tickets can be prepurchased and at the door for $5. Call (502) 845-9087 for more information.
