Two Henry County communities hosting light ups for the holiday season hope to reinvigorate public interest by bringing new life to their events.

While Eminence expands their offerings to give residents more to do Dec. 2, Campbellsburg officials hope citizens will participate in Snowflake pageants and chili, bake-off and decorating contests Dec. 9.

Eminence officials decided to significantly expand their light up offerings after the community members showed interest in participating in this year’s event, to be held Dec. 2, according to Sandy Doane.
